A Marist College poll shows Mayor Michael Bloomberg (R) is leading all Dem rivals in the NYC Mayoral race, outpacing ex-Bronx BP/'01 mayoral candidate Fernando Ferrer (51%-38%), Manhattan BP Virginia Fields (47%-41%), Rep. Anthony Weiner (48%-36%) and NYC Council Speaker Gifford Miller (50%-36%) among regis. voters (release)

There's a lot to be said about Mayor Bloomberg, but give the man credit. You know I'm not republican, but he does a lot and I think that stems from his former Democratic affiliation. He switched because it was easier to get on the GOP ticket than the Dems and now he works for $1 a year and does a fairly decent job at everything. Plus, he's Jewish...gotta get as many Jews in power as possible.
